Our Fall Harvest Celebration Week was a blast.  The children had a wonderful time playing  the carnival games and doing all the fun projects that we had planned for them.
We would like to send out a special thanks to all the parents that helped to make this week special by bringing in gourds, apples, and pumpkins, and for volunteering your time.  We appreciate your generosity and kindness.  Thank You!

  • On Thursday, November 13, 2003 from 5:00p.m.--9:00p.m. Kidzone in Benton Harbor will be having their Parent/Teacher Conferences.  If you haven't signed up for a time yet, please do so.

  • On Monday, November 17th, it is Homemade Bread Day.  We will be finger-painting with flour and water, making homemade bread in a bread machine, and learning about where wheat comes from and how it is harvested.
  • Kidzone will be having a Thanksgiving Feast for the children on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at your child's normal lunch time.  The children will not need a lunch on this day.  The staff at Kidzone will be bringing in the supplies to make a traditional Thanksgiving Feast.  There will even be a turkey.  If you would like to be involved with the Thanksgiving Feast by helping out or just donating needed items for the meal, please get with Lori to see what is needed.
  • Kidzone in Benton Harbor and South Haven will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28, 2003.  We will be open at our normal times on Monday, December 1, 2003.
  • Karla Pepple, the Director of Kidzone, will be making random, courtesy calls each month to families of Kidzone to see if they are satisfied with the service they receive at Kidzone.  If you would like to talk to Karla before this time, please make an appointment with her.  Lori will be able to make that appointment for you.  Karla is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
