Kidzone toddler rooms
Kidzone toddler rooms provide a fun and flexible environment that supports every child's need for a balanced day of stimulating activity, quiet time, small group interactions, free-play and independent exploration. A variety of Learning Centers encourage toddlers to find and use the materials, toys and equipment that spark their interest.
Toilet Training
Changing tables and toilets are accessible in all toddler rooms, so we can accommodate your child's needs and your preferences. We'll follow your lead in deciding the appropriate timing, and we'll work with you to coordinate our efforts with yours.
Gentle Guidance
Learning self-control is just a normal part of growing up, so Kidzone policy is never to embarrass or ridicule a child when they misbehave. Nor do we allow the use of corporal or physical punishment. Instead, we use positive tactics that strengthen self-esteem. Most situations can be handled by redirecting the child to another, more appropriate activity.
We ask that families provide the following:
1. Pack your child’s lunch with an ice pack-please label with your child’s name and date.
2. Pack prefilled 3 sippy cups for the day. NO Bottles are allowed.
3. Disposable diapers, wet wipes and/or underwear for toilet training.
4. Two complete weather appropriate changes of clothes.
5. Small blanket and/or any comfort items for your child.
6. Pack afternoon snack for your child-put in your child’s lunch box.
7. Bring white soled tennis shoes for Gym class on Fridays.
8. Outdoor wear- coats, jackets, mittens, shoes, and hats.
9. Family photo to put in family corner.
